Very little elbow room in our three-room apartment with two kids! For the time being, I'm confined to some rubber totes, and a card table in the corner of the bedroom.
I find the biggest challenge is to have a place to set the model, tools, and still be able to flip pages in the plans. Someone's suggestion at the club a few weeks back that I have the plans reduced to 8.5x11" sheets has been really helpful for this.

Update - might be moving to a bigger space soon!
If you had a blank slate to build a workshop, where would you start?
Related - anyone have old counters, tables, or cabinets they're getting rid of?

Update: Things are going well with upgrading the workshop. I now have moved from a card table in the bedroom to a corner of the basement!
By design, close to the wood stove, where it is super comfy.
